Fig 2 - Dress for a Boy - The suit is made of gray cloth. Knickerbocker pantaloon, and loose sacque. Black patent-leather boots with soft leather tops.
Fig 3 - Dress of green poplin, trimmed with black velvet - This dress, by being lined to make it warm, may be used as an out-door dress. It opens in front, and is trimmed with black velvet buttons.
Fig 4 - Dress for a little girl - The material is of blue cashmere, embroidered in silk of a shade darker than the dress. The body is made with a postillion skirt at the back, and with the sleeves is embroidered to correspond with the dress, and is finished with a quilling of blue ribbon. This body can be warmly wadded, so as to make a suitale out-door dress till quite late. White felt hat, trimmed with a blue plume and velvet ribbon.
